Carol Wyche - (Crocheting, Dyeing, Knitting, Spinning, Weaving)
Carol has been a knitter and spinner for so many years she's forgotten how many. She loves to teach people to spin on a wheel or hand spindle. She got into spinning and dyeing because she got tired of lace knitting yarns coming only in white. By the time she was proficient enough to make lace weight yarns, the industry had heard the call for lace weight yarns in many colors. Carol kept on spinning, just because it was fun. She believes there is always more to learn and enjoys spinning the new fibers such as bamboo, soy silk, and sugar cane, as well as the traditional ones: wool, silk, alpaca, and mohair.
