 Big Kids Camp @ Old Oaks Ranch
When: Saturday, October 11, 10AM until after dinner
and
Sunday, October 12, 10AM - 3PM
Class Description: Our staff was envious in the planning and execution of our summers Kids Camp. We came to the conclusion; Old Oaks Ranch should offer camp for "Big Kids" too! Wear your comfy jeans and tennies while in company of other campers as you explore your creativity and hidden talents!!
1*Build a mosaic bird bath with glass tiles.
2*Weave a simple woolen bag and embellish with needle felted adornments.
3*Learn to make ravioli Saturday night at Casinada Cooks. Share a glass of wine and the fruits of your labor while sharing stories with your new camper friends.
4*Create an elegant nuno felted silk scarf.
5*End your camp visit with an arm chair massage!
Prerequisites or Class Prep: Old enough to drink, young enough to drive!

Fiber Interest Group (FIG) – Join us on the last Saturday of each month, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm, to share your current project or finished object (FO), find answers to questions related to patterns or stitches, or just visit with others who share your love of fiber arts. It’s very casual, with no agendas, minutes, or dues.

Come enjoy an array of fibers and fiber arts, at the Old Oaks Ranch Fiber Arts Studio.
Expand your creativity and trendy fiber skills amidst color, texture, traditional and modern fiber arts. You will see the whole process of fiber to finish come alive from the Alpaca herd on the ranch, to the finished woven knitted or hooked product. Schedule the event for your troop or join in with another troop.
