July Rug Hooking Project – Proddy Sunflower with Crow Wall Hanging
When: Wed. July 7 (11AM-2PM)
Class Description: This wall hanging incorporates textured, solid and hand dyed wools as well as several time-honored techniques that combine for a lovely, primitive effect.
The sunflower will be taught using proddy and sculptured techniques and the border will use hit or miss random patterning to create vibrant color.
The finished piece is 12 x 16 - perfect to display on a table or on a wall.
Get started July 7 and come back August 18 for more instruction at "Open Studio".
Prerequisites or Class Prep:
Bring a quilting hoop and rug hook, or use our frames and hooks. You may also bring your yarn stash, and wools, or shop with us! We have 100's to choose from!
Fee: $25 plus the cost of materials (linen and wool).
